How we lay it
GRP must be laminated onto a clean, dry, new deck — laying it over old boards is how blisters and cracking start, so every GRP roof we do gets fresh 18mm OSB3 as standard. Pre-formed GRP edge trims are fixed first, then the laminate goes down: catalysed resin, 600-gram chopped-strand mat (900-gram where traffic demands it), rolled to drive out air, consolidated into the trims so roof and edges cure as a single moulding. Once the laminate has hardened, the topcoat seals the surface and takes the colour — standard dark grey, or anything in the range for visible roofs.
